As the title of this web page suggests, I am Tracy and I had Adjustable Gastric Banding, or the LAPBAND, on March 1, 2005. I had my surgery in Mexico. My surgeon was Dr. Aceves in Mexicali. If you would like to know about having surgery with Dr. Aceves, please fill out a contact form and his patient coordinators will contact you with more info. I paid $8200 for my surgery at that time.

Since surgery, I had lost a total of 122lbs but due to some fill issues, gained back 30. Then things went downhill with my metabolism and thyroid and I got depressed and here I am at 220lbs. I have decided to get the gastric sleeve (VSG- Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy). I created a new journal page to document my journey.  You can also go to my photo page for more before and after photo's.
